Ford Everest

Overview of the Ford Everest

Named after the grandest peak in the world, the Ford Everest is one SUV to reckon with. This five-door seven-seated mid-size SUV is well equipped to take on the roughest countryside roads (which accounts for its popularity among South Africans) while being refined enough to suit the urban world.

Everything about the Everest’s exterior is clinically robust, something that Ford has worked on over the years; expectedly, that is. Ford has also redefined the definition of comfort (at least, in the context of SUVs) by providing optimal kinetic elements to the interior of the Everest. With everything in place from the outside in, this SUV is fit for every adventure-group looking to take on the world in a spacious, entertaining and highly developed environment.

The Ford Everest comes with a turbocharged 2.5/ 3.0 diesel engine 4-cylinder 16-valve intercooler engine that can provide as much as 143/156 horsepower respectively. Available in either 4X2 or 4X4 drives, this SUV that comes with a 5-speed manual transmission comes with an ABS with EBD system, four airbags, a number of entertainment features, power fold mirrors with turn indicators, electric and windows (front and rear) among many other innovations.

Names have reasons behind them and as for the Ford Everest, it’s a fitting one – it’s an SUV that offers a lot valuable features that can take you to every peak imaginable – too bad Mt. Everest doesn’t have big-enough roads.
