As a matter of fact, it has tasted big time sales success in the Philippine market since the time it was first introduced here in 1989. The current version of the Pajero still has the same familiar look of the very first Pajero released in the Philippines with a few modifications here and there to keep pace with the modern car designs. Suzuki Swift

Overview of Suzuki Swift

If you want to have fun on the road and flash your style, the Suzuki Swift may just be the cool way to go. This 1.5L 5-door hatchback is available both in manual and automatic transmissions. But it is the manual version that the fans of Suzuki Swift are clamoring for. The command over the gears at their disposal gives the Swift driver a rush as he or she accelerates more sharply and directly. Zipping across expressways and weaving in and out of moving vehicles with ease give credit to the potent 110 horsepower 4-cylinder engine and Suzuki’s Variable Valve Timing(VVT) system that maximize combustion and throttle response and power.

The Swift is Suzuki’s counterpoint to the nearing iconic status of the Honda Jazz in the so-called FUV (fun utility vehicle) category. But for all the Swift’s interior upgrades, the interior of the Honda Jazz has a more expensive feel to it. The dynamism of the Swift’s hatchback body cannot be denied though. Its form and function coupled with high-octane performance make the Suzuki Swift a veritable headturner on the highway and in the parking lot.

The interior completes the fun and sporty aura of the car with its nicely shaped 3-spoke leather steering wheel that molds perfectly into your hands while the seats contour to the body well giving suppleness and support for those long fast drives or sudden turnes. A bezel around the speedometer is an additional sporty touch. Hugging turns and corners is made safe and easy by a great front and rear combination of independent MacPherson struts and a torsion beam. 15-inch alloy wheels dressed with wide good-gripping tires keep the Suzuki Swift firmly on the road.

Despite its compact exterior, this FUV has abundant headroom and legroom for all occupants. 213 liters of the Swift’s regular cargo space may be extended to 562 liters when its rear seats are folded flat into the floor.

The fun, safe, and stylish Suzuki Swift makes owning it a dream with the in-dash CD, AM/FM, and MP3 tuner controllable via the steering wheel, anti-lock braking system, multi-reflector halogen headlights and fog lamps, child-proof lock, and four ELP seatbelts plus a lap-belt for the center rear passenger.

The Suzuki Swift comes in eight pearlescent and metallic colors and starts retailing at Php725,000.
